  • Catamaran Cruise
"Catamaran Cruise" also known as the Pacific Island Cruise or the Island Cruise, is a one-day boat tour full of adventure that leaves daily from Puntarenas, Costa Rica's major Pacific Port. Once on board the 71-foot Catamaran Manta Raya, you can enjoy our tropical drinks and fresh fruit while cruising past some of the 23 islands in the calm waters of the Gulf of Nicoya, where you can see porpoise, dolphins, sea turtles and aquatic birds. Calypso offers two tour destinations daily: either the private reserve of Punta Coral, nestled in some of the world's last remaining Tropical Dry Forest and home for many species of wildlife including yellow napped parrots, and howler monkeys; or Costa Rica's famous palm studded, white sand beach Isla Tortuga (Tortuga Island). Once at your destination, enjoy the activities that include: sunbathing, volleyball, kayaks, bird watching or relax in a hammock. A wonderful gourmet meal is elegantly served accompanied with chilled white wine and entertainment of live music.
  • Canopy Tour - Zip Lining

The three hour ride includes riding on the beach and then to a waterfall where you can swim or relax. If it’s the afternoon ride, your day ends with a relaxing dinner served at a Costa Rican home with a view of the ocean and the rainforest. Riders are matched to horses depending on experience. Riding basics are carefully explained as needed. Special arrangements and private tours are available upon request.
  • White Water Rafting - 3/4 Day
Consider one of the cleanest rivers in Central America; the Savegre is an authentic full day adventure: relaxation and pure action while enjoying the fantastic landscapes. This adventure starts with an early drive south of Quepos on our a/c minibus. It takes 1 ½ hours through african oil plantations, teak reforestation projects and incredible landscapes to the river put-in. After a safety briefing we start maneuvering rapids like “Boca Diablo” and “Washing Machine”. We stop on the river shore for a snack of fresh fruits and cookies to then continue our river journey. Before the end we hit “Screaming Child”rapid and then the river tames down until we meet with our mini bus. A five minute drive will take you to Silencio Lodge where a hot Costa Rican meal will be served on your table. After lunch is a 50 minute drive back to Quepos.
  • White Water Rafting - 1/2 Day
Only 30 minutes into the mountains from the Manuel Antonio / Quepos area, the Naranjo River offers an exhilarating, exploding section of white water. This river is the natural southern border of Manuel Antonio National Park. The section we run goes from the town of Villanueva in the mountains to the Llamarón Bridge on the road from Quepos to Dominical. On these 6 miles of whitewater we will run rapids like “La Piñata”, “El Cesar” & “Robin Hood”. On the second half of our run the river opens up on the Pacific flatlands giving us the opportunity to enjoy the view and se many species of birds like the Ringed King Fisher and the White Ibis. With a little bit of luck we might be able to see one of the crocodiles that live on the river. Our trip starts in Quepos, where our minibus will pick you up and take you to the put in of the river, passing through the towns of Naranjito & Villanueva. Once there, our guides will gear you up and after our safety talk we will start our descent maneuvering the rapids of the mighty Naranjo River.

  • Water Tours - Outrigger/Snorkel
Outrigger canoes have been exploring the warmer oceans of the world for centuries, long before Columbus came to Costa Rica; the people of Oceania were exploring the Pacific in outrigger canoes. On our tour that is exactly what you will do. You will discover why the outrigger canoe is the perfect craft to take out your family or group on a wonderful outing to beautiful secluded beaches to swim and snorkel (snorkeling only when conditions permit) in clear calm waters and see the Costa Rica that you came to see. In the outrigger there is always a guide steering the canoe for you, there can be up to 7 other paddlers to share the load so that arrival at our destination is not entirely up to you. They are incredibly stable, comfortable and easy to paddle. They are ideal for families, youth groups, corporate breakaways, team building activities and even races. They are made for a fun, “no experience necessary” ½ day getaway.
  • Water Tours - Kayak/Snorkel
Our Sea Kayak and Snorkeling tour is serious fun. We've been doing it for 10 years now and we feel we have it perfected. The scenery is spectacular, our equipment is top notch and easy to paddle. We snorkel (when conditions permit) from the beach so we have lots of options if someone in the group is into monkey watching or beachcombing. Transportation is available from Jaco and all the surrounding beaches. Special prices if you arrive in your own transportation.

Ashuma is a 25 foot Searunner Trimaran, that means she has 3 hulls. What does that mean to you. It means there is a big cockpit with room for 8, and outside that cockpit there are trampolines for lounging with lots more space, for lots of folks. But we limit Ashuma to 6 guests, and only your friends or family are invited.
